THE NORTON LAW FIRM MOVES TO HISTORIC ROTUNDA BUILDING IN DOWNTOWN OAKLAND
October 22, 2024 (Oakland, CA) – The Norton Law Firm is pleased to announce its office move to Oakland’s historic Rotunda Building.
“We sought a larger space for our team, which is now 18 lawyers and five professional staff,” said Fred Norton, founder of The Norton Law Firm. “We moved into our new offices at the iconic Rotunda Building, one of the Bay Area’s best examples of Beaux-Arts architecture, at the beginning of September. The Rotunda Building is a beautiful space that has recently been modernized and updated extensively throughout. It’s right in the center of downtown Oakland, on Frank Ogawa Plaza across from City Hall, and just a few blocks from the federal courthouse as well. We’ve been committed to being part of Oakland from the very beginning and the Rotunda Building suits us perfectly.”
Norton began his career at Boies, Schiller & Flexner, where he was a partner from 2006 to 2012. He then joined SolarCity as the company’s Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Litigation and continued in that role at Tesla after Tesla acquired SolarCity in 2016. In June 2017, Norton returned to private practice and, with partner Bree Hann, founded The Norton Law Firm, which represents clients in a wide range of business litigation, including complex and high-profile cases at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal court and in arbitration.
