Hayley Landman joined the firm as an associate after clerking for the Honorable Jeffrey S. White in the Northern District of California for more than two years. Previously, Hayley practiced as an associate in the St. Louis and Los Angeles offices of Thompson Coburn LLP, where she worked on a wide range of cases in courts and in arbitration proceedings.
While in law school, Hayley served as an editor on the boards of both the California Law Review and Ecology Law Quarterly. Hayley worked as a teaching and research assistant to the Honorable Thelton Henderson of the Northern District of California (inactive), and as a judicial extern to the Honorable Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye of the California Supreme Court.
Hayley has represented incarcerated individuals who have suffered abuse or neglect in their federal cases against prison staff, as well as domestic violence victims in cases against their abusers. During the academic year, Hayley volunteers as a coach for a mock trial team at an underserved school in Vallejo, California.
