Matt Liscovitz joined The Norton Law Firm as an associate after clerking with the Honorable Judge Ana de Alba on both the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. Previously, he represented indigent criminal defendants as an attorney with the Fresno County Public Defender, where he conducted four trials and managed a misdemeanor caseload.

Matt earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was a senior editor of the Michigan Law Review, and his B.A., cum laude, from Haverford College, where he was a captain of the baseball team.
