Saja Spearman-Weaver is an associate at The Norton Law Firm. Saja recently completed a two-year clerkship on the United States District Court, Northern District of California, for the Honorable William H. Orrick, III.
Saja earned her J.D. from Yale Law School. At Yale, Saja served as a research assistant supporting research on police brutality and other civil rights issues and as a teaching assistant supporting courses in Constitutional law. She also represented incarcerated individuals in a class action lawsuit seeking improved protection for juveniles sentenced to life without parole and worked with the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office on consumer protection litigation.
While in law school, Saja also served as an editor on the Yale Law and Policy Review. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley, with dual B.A.s in Political Science and African American Studies.
